Early Intervention Services encompass services and supports that are available to babies and young children with established risk conditions that may cause developmental delays, or who already have developmental delays, and/or disabilities, and their families.

Early Intervention services include Service Coordination which is the coordination of services including but not limited to the following: therapies, medical referrals, government-assisted programs, and/or community-based programs.

Early Intervention Services are provided by an Early Interventionist (EI) who completes any Service Coordination needs, as well as, conducts Family Training or Special Instruction if needed and agreed upon by the Family.

Family Training (FT) Services are designed to provide families and parents with training and skills to help promote their child’s physical, mental, and social skills, as needed. The goal is to improve a child’s developmental outcomes which are established and agreed upon between the family and the EI through the development of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).

Once a child is eligible to receive Early Intervention Services, Great Kids & Awesome Adults can be selected as their Early Intervention Provider upon the Family’s/Guardian’s request.
