Our Caring Administrative Team
At Great Kids & Awesome Adults, our Administrative Team is the heartbeat behind everything we do, working tirelessly to keep our programs running smoothly for children, adults, and families alike. They’re more than just the folks behind the scenes, they’re the ones who make sure everyone feels supported, connected, and cared for.
With a deep commitment to our community, they handle the logistics of each initiative, coordinate resources, and keep communication flowing between families, staff, and community partners. Their skill in organizing and their passion for helping others allow us to offer programs tailored to the unique needs of each person we serve, whether they’re young, grown, or somewhere in between.
But it doesn’t stop there. Our team genuinely cares about building relationships and making sure every family feels like they belong. They listen, they engage, and they actively work to understand the specific needs of each individual.
Through their dedication, they help create an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone - kids, adults, and their families - thrive, and feel a true sense of connection.
Nuria, Executive Director, is from South Florida and moved to South Carolina in 2016. She is bilingual and has a multi-cultural background on a personal, as well as, on a professional level. Nuria has been working in some form of Management within Education for over 20 years.
Louie feels blessed to serve your family and work with the amazing team at Great Kids & Awesome Adults. He has a daughter with special needs that inspired him to create many unique programs that make a difference in the lives of others. Louie also authored an inspirational book called, Leg Up: The Courage to Dream.
Dana Gonzalez, Office Manager, was born and raised in New Jersey. In 2021 she relocated to Summerville with her husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Dana has worked with kids 10 and under in various programs for many years, most recently as a Preschool teacher. She is excited to join Great Kids & Awesome Adults, offering support in many ways to our team and families!
Jamie is a Buffalo, NY native who has worked in the human service field since 2017. She is an advocate for individuals with disabilities, and her time at Great Kids & Awesome Adults has only deepened that passion. Jamie has served as an Early Intervention Supervisor, worked in administration, and now holds dual roles as both Intake Director and Human Resources Director.
